Registration of Certifying Bodies

We select local Halal certifying bodies (HCBs) that meet the criteria for Halal certification, which includes the application of international quality and safety standards, Halal accreditation process and HAQMS. After assessment, verification, and approval, HCBs are registered with MWL through our global platform.

Issuance of Halal Certification

The products and services are verified by approved certifying bodies through the execution of a product analysis, process audit and on-site assessment. Our technical and Shariah experts continuously monitor the certification process applied by HCBs, and a Halal Certificate is only issued after the final review.

MWL Registers Clients, Exporters and Halal Products

After the issuance of Halal certificate by the certifying body, the suppliers and exporters register themselves at MWL global platform. They are also requested to register all Halal Certified products and services that they offer, through the same platform. Once registered, KSA customs would allow the entry of only the approved products into the Kingdom.
